The Canadian Silver Wood Bison Bullion coin was released by the Royal Canadian Mint, in 2013.

The Wood Bison silver bullion coin is the sixth and last bullion coin released in the Canadian Wildlife Silver Bullion Coin Series.

Obverse

The obverse side of the Canadian Silver Wood Bison bullion coin displays the effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, designed by Susanna Blunt.

Her initials "SB," although they are hard to see, are located at the top of the Queen's right shoulder(narrated in the first person point of view).

At the top of the coin is the Queen's name "ELIZABETH II."

Inscribed across the bottom of the silver bullion coin, is the face value of "5 DOLLARS" and the year the coin was issued "2013."

The edge of the silver coin is Reeded.








Reverse

The reverse side of the silver bullion coin depicts a Wood Bison walking on a snowy plain.

Inscribed along the top of the silver coin is "CANADA."

Under the wood bison is the purity of the silver bullion coin "9999."

The "ED" under the bison's head, are the initials of the reverse side's designer, Emily Damstra.

Inscribed, at the bottom of the silver bullion coin is the coin's weight and fineness, in the English and French languages, "FINE SILVER, 1 OZ, ARGENT PUR."
