LXI (61st) - Ledger Entry: 04/11/2017
In the last ledger, I wrote that I was going to be sending a letter to the President of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital who is Dr. James R. Downing, MD.
I decided not to send the letter and I’ll tell you why.
Shortly after the last ledger entry, I received an email from an individual who used to closely follow the Kanzius Cancer Research foundation; a foundation this site used to sponsor.
He wanted to know if I knew anything about a lawsuit between the Baylor College of Medicine and the company that now owns the rights to the Kanzius Foundation’s research.
In my response, I informed him that I had only found out about the lawsuit a few weeks ago and that beyond what the court documents say here, I could not offer anymore information except what is recorded on this site which can be found on the who this guide Sponsors & Why page.

As we continued to exchange emails, he informed me that his brother wrote a series of articles titled ‘Kicking Cancer’s Ass,’ the articles are about those who have used uncommon ways to treat cancer and have been successful at doing it.
They are also, about how the established medical community frowns on these individuals and their methods.
I decided not to send the letter to the President of St. Jude Children’s Hospital (yet) because these articles have made me think that I may need to change the approach to my current goal, which is to find out what it takes to get St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital to research Gold Nanoparticle Cancer Therapy.
Right now, I'm not sure how I'm going to go about getting the answers I am looking for, but I hope to be a little more enlightened for you in the next ledger entry.
Lastly, just so you know this guide is still donating at least 50% of its total earnings to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and that is not going to change.

LXII (62nd) - Ledger Entry: 05/11/2017
Hello, I hope you and your family had a Happy Easter.
In the last ledger entry, I stated that I was in the middle of reading some articles that were written about those who have used uncommon ways to treat cancer and have been successful at doing it, and how the established medical community frowns upon these individuals.
I also stated that I may need to change the approach to my current goal, which is to find out what it takes to get St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital to research Gold Nanoparticle Cancer Therapy, due to what I’ve read in these articles.
In addition, I ended the last ledger entry with this statement:
Right now, I'm not sure how I'm going to go about getting the answers I am looking for, but I hope to be a little more enlightened for you on the next ledger entry.
I have done a lot of thinking on the subject, but to tell you the truth, I haven’t made a whole lot of progress because of other things going on in my life.
The day after the last ledger entry (April 12th), my mother almost died, she is better now, but I’ve had to help her from having the issue arise again.
Then, about a week later, I caught the flu, I think I picked it up at the hospital, it’s been at least 4-years since I’ve had the Flu, so it floored me, but I am finally mostly over it.
Plus, day one of my flu, I found an error in the mintage
figures between the U.S. Mint and the U.S. Treasury for the 2014 American
Silver Eagles – see blog posts here and here.
Here's a quick updated on that issue; I am waiting on a source to get back to me with the information requested in the post, if he does not respond with any answers, I will post Update #2 and fill you in on my next course of action.
In conclusion, I didn't get the enlightenment I was looking for since my last ledger entry, so barring any major family issues, I intend to have some answers for you next month.

A little over 2-months ago I was contacted by an individual who’s brother published a newsletter in Ohio called ‘Active Voice.’
The series of articles are about those who have been successful with using alternative treatments to beat cancer.
In addition, the articles go into how the medical community ignores the findings of those who’ve researched these alternative treatments for cancer and it describes how they are shunned and turned into outcasts.
The series of articles are called ‘Kicking Cancer’s Ass' and they were written in the late 1990's and early 2000's by the Publisher of the 'Active Voice,' Ron McEntee.

The last link directs you to a website that Ken McEntee dedicated to the memory of Ron McEntee who died May 23, 2015, of Cancer.
Ken is Ron’s brother.
The irony of Ron McEntee’s articles is that this shunning of the alternative medicine movement is still going on to this day; recently the FDA released this article:
FDA takes action against 14 companies for selling illegal cancer treatments
I
don't doubt that some of these companies are selling 'snake oil,' but
I'm also willing to bet that some of these companies are selling
alternative cancer treatments that help people.
As for those
companies that are selling products that help people, the only problem
with their research is that they did not get the approval from the FDA
to do it, so it's been deemed 'illegal.'
One of the biggest
reasons why this is, is because a lot of companies don't have the
financial backing to fund an FDA-approved clinical trial.
However, it's good to see that Texas is trying to help their terminally ill citizens get around this over regulated system.
The fact is that if the system was set up to help the individual, the FDA would accept all clinical trials and research results, then regulate treatments and medicines that had bad side effects or hurt people.
If this were the case, they wouldn't make an alternative drug or treatment 'illegal' simply because their clinical research wasn't initially approved by the FDA.
The Kicking Cancer’s Ass articles got me to think about how I’ve been going about getting St. Jude Children's Research Hosptial to consider adding Gold Nano Particle Cancer Research to search towards finding a cure.
So far, I’ve received two responses, one by Dr. Jianrong (John) Wu, Ph.D. (seen here) that sounded optimistic, and one by Dr. Douglas R. Green, Ph.D. that sounded apologetic and vague. (You can see Dr. Green's responses to the '60th (LX) - 3/11/2017 - Ledger Entry - further down this page)
I did send an email to the President of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Dr. James R. Downing, MD, but I got no response.
The surprising thing about the responses is how little is known about Gold Nano-particle Cancer Research.
Gold Nano-particle Cancer Research has received the FDA's blessing, so its amazing to me that, so far, when the subject has been brought up I get a 'deer in the headlights' response.
Plus, there are Research Centers, Universities, and Hospitals around the country and world that are have found very positive results through this research.
To get a glimpse of this, all anyone has to do is to read some of the articles/research journals I’ve collected over the last 3 years here.
To be completely honest, I haven't finished my 'plan of action' as to
how I am going to proceed with my goal of getting St. Jude's and other
cancer research hospitals to investigate or use this form of research.
I have a plan, I have several ideas swirling in my head.
What
I need to do is put my ideas down on paper and decide which ones will
work best for me now, because I'm finding myself helping my parents more
and more, daily.

Last Month, I was able to bring all of the affiliate links on all the coin pages up-to-date, and all the Canadian Bullion Coin pages were also brought up-to-date, along with the Britannia pages.
Plus, like I said a month or two ago, I've been reducing the number of ads per page, I built this website to help people not to be a nuisance.
I was also able to bring the quarterly report pages up-to-date, and posted the following pages:
Recently, I added two more affiliates, Sprott Money and The Real Asset Company.
The Real Asset Company is a Vault Storage Company for Bullion and Sprott Money is a bullion dealer that offers home delivery and Bullion Storage.

In the last few ledger entries, I've been
posting that I've been developing a new plan of action towards moving
forward with my goal of getting St. Judes, and other cancer research
hospitals to investigate or use Gold Nano-Particle Cancer Research.
I have finished it.
You
know the goal, which is mentioned above, but after a lot of thought,
I've decided not to go into detail as to what my plans are for the
future.
Why? Because plans almost never go the way they are expected, and anything can happen.
But, I do think that with some of the latest research that has come out about Gold Nano-Particles that my goals maybe a little easier to convey: Thwarting metastasis by breaking cancer's legs with gold rods.
The article states the following: The
experimental treatment also spared healthy cells, in these and in prior
experiments, making the method potentially much less taxing on patients
than commonly used chemotherapy.
Also, in the last ledger
entry, I mentioned that I help my parents in their daily lives and even
though I don't foresee this changing anytime soon, nothing major has
come up for at least a month.
I apologize to those who expected more out of this post, I feel like I've put myself in a 'catch 22.'
I don't want to say I'm going to do something, then for some unforeseen reason, not be able to do what I said.
And on the flip-side of that, I don't want to limit myself.
In the 62nd (LXII) Ledger entry, I told you about one of these
unforeseen reasons, my mother almost died. I didn't go into detail in
that ledger entry because there was too much to explain.
But, I will tell you I saw death in her eyes, eyes of death aren't like what you see in the movies.
But,
through the grace of God, she miraculously came out of it.
My father has some issues as well, but I'm hoping and praying for the best.
I'm
usually a very private individual, only my closest friends and family
know about these things, but I've lead you up to this ledger entry
telling you I was setting up a plan for my goals, but after April 12th,
the day of my mother's near death, all has changed.
So, for now, I'm going to do what I can and see where that takes me.
But, if an unforeseen issue with my family comes up, family comes first.
So, when I have news to tell you about any progress, and I'll let you know here.

Hello,
I hope you've been having a good summer.
A few
days after I posted the last ledger entry, I took my father down to
Sibley Hospital in Bethesda, Md. for some tests. They were testing for
cancer; Thankfully, the tests came up Negative.
I sat in the
waiting room for at least 3 to 4 hours, and after going through the
reading material that I had brought with me, I noticed a magazine
sitting on the table to my side called 'Cure.'
So I picked up the magazine, and as I thumbed through the pages, I quickly realized this is a chemotherapy industry magazine.
The magazine contained very little in the way of a cure, it read more like a scary nightmare.
I
can't remember what issue it was that I read, I do know that the issue
that I read had a green cover, but I remember reading an article about
'why cancer patients intentionally miss their treatments.'
Another
article was about the costs of chemotherapy treatments, in it, it
stated that chemotherapy treatments typically cost a patient over
$10,000 a month.
In addition, another article talked about how at least 25% of those who survive cancer, end up in bankruptcy.
After
reading it, the immediate thought that came to my mind is 'what are
these people doing? the complacency in the expectation that chemotherapy
is going to be the 'norm' is rampant in the industry.'
In just
this one issue of "Cure," I found out that just the thought of
chemotherapy, depresses a patient to the point that they intentionally
miss treatments.
Plus, on top of that, the price of the treatment will certainly strain their finances, if not, put them in bankruptcy.
On
top of that, I read absolutely nothing about Gold Nanoparticle cancer
research and very little on other forms of research outside of
chemotherapy. I think I remember reading one article that was about
genome therapy, but it was in conjunction with chemotherapy.
My
reason for sharing this with you is because after I read the articles in
the magazine, it made me think about all the research money that is
raised through fund drives around the United States.
Perhaps we
need to refocus who we give our money to, and either give to a better
form of research or make sure that the organizations we are raising
funds for gives to those who need it the most; the patient.

Updates & Announcements
I don't have very many updates for you.
First, in case if
you didn't see it, I received an answer from the U.S. Mint to my FOIA
request, you can read about the response in this blog post.
In
the response, the U.S. Mint provided this guide with mintage
information that wasn't previously known, but the new information left
open a few unanswered questions, similar to the ones I posted at the
bottom of the blog post.
So last week, I issued a new FOIA
request with the U.S. Mint to see if they could answer those questions.
When I get a response I will write about it.
All other updates have been posted under the 'Recent Guide Updates' on the right side column of the website.
But before I go, Since Friday (9/8), I've been dealing with a bad cold, so I will not be posting a blog post
this week, I initially postponed it till the 9/12, hoping that I'd feel
better by then, but I still feel like crap, so I'm going to wait till
next weekend to post again.

LXVII (67th) - Ledger Entry: 10/11/2017
In this ledger/journal entry, I want to share with you a video blog about a young man's battle with Stage 4 Stomach Cancer.
It offers us a unique glimpse into the life and struggles of someone with dealing with Cancer, Chemotherapy, and Radiation Therapy.
Nabeel Qureshi died on September 16th, I previously mentioned that I first heard of him a few years ago, but then I lost track of him.
That was until 2-weeks before his death when I saw one of his last videos, and was shocked to find out that he had cancer.
The video blog is 43 videos long, I have watched and listened to them all, and have selected the ones that included important facts about living with Stage 4 cancer and how he was dealing with the treatment.
The individual in this video blog is Nabeel Qurechi Ph.D., he was a Christian Apologist and Minister.
I became aware of who Nabeel Qureshi a few years ago after I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior.
What stood out most to me about Nabeel was the fact that he was a former Muslim turned Christian; for those who don't know for Muslim's the penalty for conversion is death.
He lived here in the United States, so death rarely happens to those Muslims who convert here, but he used to travel around the world telling people about his conversion, which displayed (to me) that he had great inner strength and character.
But, this entry isn't about Christianity or Nabeel's religious conversion; what this entry is about is his struggle with cancer and his treatments.
As mentioned above Nabeel Qurechi Ph.D. logged 43 videos chronicling his treatment, and as you go over them you can see how the effects take its toll on his life.
Nabeel posted the videos to keep those who followed him informed of his condition.
I'm posting them to show you that we have to find a better way to treat cancer and stop accepting the current treatment norm, this is why I am sharing only the videos that are the most relevant to this point of view.
The the first video log was taken shortly after his diagnosis and went to a few days before he passed away.
Note: In the beginning of most of the videos below Nabeel talks about his cancer and the treatment, but not all.
I've posted a 'timestamp' to show where he speaks about a specific subject in some of the videos. But other videos offer good informative tidbits about his cancer and treatment throughout.
In addition, in almost every video he talks about healing and those who have been healed by Jesus Christ through prayer.

The last two videos in Nabeel's video blog show him in a hospital bed, the doctor's who started him on his new rounds of Chemotherapy treatments without his initial consent (video #28) have given up hope and have put him on palliative care.

For myself, after watching Nabeel's complete video blog, I could personally reflect on it and remember seeing friends and family dealing with a lot of the same issues he did. This is in reference to those I knew who passed away, but also for those who survived from cancer.
In conclusion, so many don't know what its like to have cancer, they don't even want to talk about it, which I completely understand.
But we have to stop being blind to the treatment that is based on killing the disease by poisoning the whole body because one day it may be you or I that is battling the disease wishing there was a better option.

Updates & Announcements
Most of this my work this month, besides my blog posts, was dominated by updating the Australian Bullion Coin pages.
Early in the month, I received permission by The Perth Mint to republish their coin photos. All of the Australian Bullion coin pages have been updated, some have been almost entirely rewritten.
In addition, I added more information to the Australian Bullion page and published two new pages, the Silver Kangaroo and the Platinum Kangaroo.
There is one announcement I want to make you aware of pertains to the entire website (guide).
Sometime in the next week or so, the web address will change from 'http://' to 'https://.'
My webhost has made me aware that some I may have some issues to deal with after the fact, but exact details of what those issues maybe at this time is unknown.
The change is happening to make the website more secure and acceptable a lot of search engine's 'search rules.'
I simply ask that if there are any glitches with the website, please know that I will be diligently working to correct them.

LXVIII (68th) - Ledger Entry: 11/11/2017
Hello,
The intro to this journal/ledger will be very short
(compared to others) because time hasn't been something I've had a lot
of for the last week.
My mother had scheduled knee surgery on
Monday, November 6th, and since I am her primary caregiver and a former
personal trainer with training in massage and physical therapy, I have
been working with her hourly to make sure she does what she needs to do
so that her knee heals properly with maximum mobility.
Plus, in
about three weeks, my father needs to have surgery, I discussed this
issue in the 66th journal/ledger (9/11) entry, I'm not getting into the
subject now, but I'll touch more on the subject in the next ledger
entry.
One last thing, in the last journal entry (updates section
- found below the donation amount), I stated that this website will be
changing from the web prefix of 'http' to 'https'
I didn't do it
last month, and I'm not going to make the change until sometime in early
2018. I will post a tag-line at the top of each page sometime after
the first of the new year to let you know when I will be making the
change.

LXIX (69th) - Ledger Entry: 12/11/2017
Hello,
I hope you and your family had a Happy Thanksgiving and will have a Merry Christmas.
In the last ledger entry, I told you that I didn't have much time on my hands because my mother had just had knee surgery. I'm happy to say that after only one month after her surgery she is walking on a cane, she can straighten her leg and today she was able to bend it up to 120 degrees.
Her doctor has told her that her recuperation is 6-weeks ahead of the norm.
I also told you in the last ledger entry that my father was going to have surgery at the end of November and he did. He had a tumor removed from his liver. As of now, to my knowledge, the surgery was successful, but I'll know more in a few days.
Back in September, I told you that he went in for tests and that the tests were negative for cancer. Well, a few months later after some new tests they found something cancerous and that's what they removed.
I'm telling you this because I told you in the last ledger entry that I would, but it's not what I wanted to announce to you in this ledger entry.
I wanted to let you know that this December will be the last month that I'll be sponsoring St. Jude Children's Hospital.
I have my reasons, none of them are bad, I'll explain in the next ledger entry on January 11th, 2018.
Just to be clear, half of the money collected during December will go to St. Jude Children's Hospital and it will be reported on Jan. 11th 2018.
I intend to start my own research fund that will go towards gold nanoparticle cancer research, I am still working on a name.
I'm still working on the details, I also wanted to let you know that on January 1st, I will be removing the photos of St. Jude Thaddeus on the guide, and they'll be switched to an Archangel known for Healing, and I will also explain this switch in the next ledger entry.
There are other changes that I think I'll be making, but like I said I'm still working on the details.
I'll tell you all the changes that will come here, first.

In this ledger entry, I don't have too many updates to tell you about.
I did want to let you know that I changed the narration for all of the coins on the pages of this guide.
If you've read any of the coin pages in the past, you'd know that all the coins were narrated in the first person.
A friend of mine told me that my first-person narration was confusing, I explained my reasoning to him and he agreed with my point of view, but he still said it was confusing and I should change it.
So I asked him what how I should change it, and he said just make it easy, and simply to read, he said: "explain the obvious."
So, over the last few months, I've been removing the first person coin narrations, making them 'obvious narrations.'
About a week ago, I posted on the right side column's 'Recent Updates' the Bullion Coin Anatomy page, and the biggest edit of that page was my first person narration explanation was removed.
The other thing I wanted to let you know about is that I'm thinking about starting with a pay-per-click affiliate manager.
I haven't started with them yet, I'm still reviewing their program, I can tell you that it's mostly a text link program that isn't annoying like 'infolinks' and they have better advertisers.
Plus, if/when I do sign with them and if I find their links annoying or if I get complaints, I'll drop them, but again, I haven't signed yet and I'll let you know in the next updates and announcements section if I do.
In addition, adding this affiliate manager will not affect any of my other affiliate links or advertisements, if I add it, that's all it will be, an addition, nothing will be taken away.

Hello,
I hope you and your family had a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
In the last ledger entry, I told you that this would be the last donation that would be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
I have had no problems with the hospital. I did send them a series of letters several months ago; seen here and here, which I received some response, but I never received the response I had hoped for.
I still believe in St. Jude Children's Hospital and the help they give to families and children.
However,
their research doesn't align with the research that this website
supports, so for that reason, I have started a Gold Nanoparticle Cancer
Research Fund.
Although, I'm not calling it the Gold Nanoparticle Cancer Research Fund, I'm calling it The Angel of Healing Cancer Research Fund.
I
could go into why I decided to give the fund its name, but I have just
posted a new page about this new fund, including whose research it
supports, and why I decided to give it its name; seen here.
At
this point, there really isn't much more to say, except that I hope you
support this fund and this website and I'll keep you informed of its
future on this journal/ledger page.

Hello,
I hope you and your family are doing well.
In
the last ledger entry, I wrote that I was no longer sponsoring St. Jude
Children's Hospital and now supporting Gold Nanoparticle Cancer Research
by directly making donations to the researchers who are doing the work.
At least half of all money earned/donated by this guide will be going to a new fund named The Angel of Healing Cancer Research Fund, that I manage.
On the new page for the fund; here, I included a section as to why I gave the fund its name.
I
also wanted to quickly summarize what was written, for the integrity of
the new fund, so I'm going to share with you an excerpt of an email I
shared with a family member before my father's last surgery, 3-weeks
ago.
I wanted to let you know that
Dad is going to have some more spots removed from his liver tomorrow
morning. I'm sorry I didn't contact you sooner.
Dad
went to the hospital last week in a scheduled appointment with his
doctor and he was getting an MRI to see if the first surgery was
completely successful.
The
first surgery was completely successful, but two new spots have shown
up, his doctor didn't say whether or not they look cancerous, but he
wants to remove them while they are small before they do.
So
tomorrow morning (Friday) we'll be driving down to Bethesda (Suburban
Hospital) for his surgery, we have to be there by 7:30 am; his surgery
is scheduled for 9 am.
The
last time he had this surgery, he was walking out of the hospital by 3
pm. So I hope the same happens tomorrow. I'll email you this weekend
to let you know how things work out.
As of now, we don't know how successful his second surgery was, but everything seems fine, my family is praying for him.
One last thing:
I
wanted to let you know that when I make a donation to the researchers
listed on the fund's page, I will be sending no less than $100.
Furthermore, when a donation is made to a researcher, his/her name will be named as the recipient, not the Fund.
