Series I : Reverse

The reverse of the 2006 Series I - 10 oz Australian Lunar silver bullion coin displays a dog sitting on the ground.

Inscriptions:

• 狗 - Chinese for Dog

• 999 SILVER

The Edge of the silver lunar bullion coin is reeded.

Series I - silver lunar bullion coins do not have a Mint Mark.

Note: The Australian Lunar "Year of the Rabbit" silver bullion coin, issued in 1999, displayed a "P100" mint mark. It represents the Perth Mint's "100th Anniversary." 1999 was the only year a Series I silver lunar coin had a Mint Mark.

The Australian Lunar Silver bullion coin displays a mother pig surrounded by her piglets in the grass with foliage, designed by Aleysha Howarthon.

• P - mint mark of the Perth Mint
  
• AH - initials of designer found on the first leaf of the tree branch, above the pigs.
