10 oz. Australian Lunar Gold Bullion Coin
Series I, II, and III
2000 - Present
In 2000, four years after the Perth Mint started the Australian Lunar Gold Bullion Series of Coins, the mint added three more gold bullion coins to their popular bullion series.
That year, they introduced the 2 oz, 10 oz, and 1 kilo Gold bullion coins to investors.

Bullion Coin - Series I, II, and III
Series I : Obverse
The obverse of the Australian Lunar Gold Coin - Bullion Series I displays the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by designer Ian Rank-Broadley.

Series I : Reverse
The reverse of the gold bullion coin shows an image of the animal associated with each Chinese Lunar Calendar year.

Note: In 1999, the Series I Australian Lunar gold bullion coins featured a unique "P100" mint mark, commemorating the Perth Mint's "100th Anniversary." It was the only Series I gold lunar coin with a mint mark.
