For more than two years, the Free Bullion Investment Guide has been undergoing a full overhaul, focusing on preserving the good while re-editing all other content.

Last month, the Australian Silver Lunar Bullion Coin pages were updated with 2026 photos and the mintages up through 2023.

This update hasn't been posted on the right column, under the "Recent Guide Updates" (yet), because the Australian Gold Lunar bullion coins haven't been updated, which I hope to have done this month (August).

My Opinion on Gold & Silver Market

Fundamentals Analysis:

Last month in this free monthly newsletter's Fundamental Analysis, I posted the July version of the two charts below. 

I created charts to illustrate how changes in the Federal Funds rate affect gold and silver prices.

You can listen to all the pundits explaining why gold and silver prices fluctuate, citing various reasons. The truth is, the Federal Funds rate is the primary factor influencing gold and silver.

The Federal Funds rate, the rate at which the Federal Reserve sets rates for overnight lending between banks, governs all interest rates in the United States.  In addition, because the U.S. dollar is the world's reserve currency, it also dictates many of the world's interest rates as well.

Lowering it increases the money supply which is good for gold and silver when debt is high, like it is currently.  Raising rates will reduce the money supply and hurt gold and silver. 

Keeping interest rates at the same level typically causes gold and silver prices to move sideways with a downward trend. This pattern has been observed over the past eight months, as illustrated in the August interest rate price charts for gold and silver, shown below.

It will be over a month before the Federal Reserve meets again on September 16th. We need interest rates to come down; they currently sit at 3.75%. For that to happen, inflation has to come down. The Federal Reserve won't lower rates unless inflation starts to fall below 3.0%. 

My fundamental analysis is that when inflation starts coming back down, so will interest rates, and when that happens, gold and silver will move higher, and I believe they will sometime in the near future.  I hope it happens before the end of the year.

Technical Analysis:

Gold and Silver Analysis:

Much like last month, I don't expect gold and silver's bull market to return until interest rates decline. In addition, with the Federal Reserve not meeting until September 16th, I expect gold and silver to trade sideways until a rate decline is announced.

Both gold and silver price charts have formed "Falling Wedge" patterns, which are expected to break to the upside. 

The support levels in each chart below have not been broken:

• Gold Price Support has held at $3,940 
• Silver Price Support has held at $54.75

The prices of gold and silver are still expected to break the Positive Falling Wedge pattern sometime in the near future.

Note: If there happens to be a Large Broad-Market Correction or Crash in the next four weeks, gold and silver usually, and likely will again, drastically fall in price as traders scramble for liquidity and will sell anything to find it.  Although the prices of silver and gold may fall in this type of market, they are also the quickest to recover after such events.

One Last Thing...

Embrace the belief that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, born as God Incarnate, who willingly did the will of his Father (God) and died for you and shed his sinless blood so that your sins could be forgiven.

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.  For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.  John 3:16-17

When you reach out to God with a sincere heart and ask for forgiveness of your sins in Jesus' name, and repent. You will no longer be a slave to sin and will start walking a new path. You will be born again and be filled with the Holy Spirit and receive the gift of everlasting life.

But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you. - John 14:26

I encourage you to learn more about Jesus Christ by reading the New Testament of the Holy Bible. Talk/Pray to him like you would your best friend, and end your words with "in Jesus name, Amen" because there is power in his name.

When you believe in the Son of God, Jesus Christ, you'll see him make your paths straight and move mountains in your life.
