For more than two years, the Free Bullion Investment Guide has been undergoing a full overhaul, focusing on preserving the good while re-editing all other content.
Below is the latest group of updated pages.
Last month was not a great month for me. My computer decided it didn't want to work for me anymore on the 7th or 8th of October; I can't remember exactly which day. I think it died on the 7th, but I kept holding out hope that it would turn on again on the 8th. Then it took me a little over a week to get a new one.
For about the last 5 years, I have learned that a place to get a good-quality Refurbished Dell computer at a good price is Walmart.
Because of my computer issues, I didn't get much done last month, but the Gold Sovereign page was updated with the new coin images for 2027.
2027 U.K. Gold Sovereign page Updated
For those who regularly read what I write in this part of the newsletter, know my views on what is the main factor that is moving gold and silver, but for those who don't, it generally is the following:
The Federal Funds rate is the primary factor influencing gold and silver. Lower rates help gold and silver prices move higher, while keeping rates at the same level makes gold and silver prices see-saw and generally move sideways, and higher rates make gold and silver prices drop.
The Federal Reserve's last FOMC meeting was on October 28th; they decided not to raise the Federal Funds Rate, which is what I believe traders expected, but two days later, on October 30th, the price of gold and silver fell, breaking $4000 for gold and $50 for silver.
Q: What caused that price drop?
A: Traders expect the FOMC (Federal Open Market Committee) to raise rates on December 9th. That's it, in my view.
All the other factors in the news (e.g., Central Bank buying, supply deficits, uncertainty, etc.) all help gold and silver's price one way or another, but it is the Federal Funds Rate that moves gold and silver the most.
Traders are constantly trying to anticipate the Federal Reserve's actions regarding the Federal Funds Rate, and they react to all the positive or negative news on the subject.
For example, take a look at the articles below, and further down the page, look at the updated Federal Funds Rate—Gold and Silver charts.
The information indicates that back in August 2025, the prices of gold and silver began to rise following the announcement that the Federal Reserve planned to lower interest rates. This news encouraged traders to buy gold and silver in anticipation of the Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) officially lowering rates on September 17, 2025, which happened.
08/05/2025: Fed Expected To Cut Interest Rates In September - ForbesSimilar scenarios play out every month before a FOMC (Federal Open Market Committee) meeting.
Today, traders expect the Federal Reserve to raise the Federal Funds Rate again on December 9th.
The price of gold and silver has been rising over the last two days (November 4th and 5th) because of the outcome of the midterm elections. Traders are hoping for an end to the Iran War, which should bring down inflation, and it should also encourage the Federal Reserve to lower the Federal Funds Rate. But those midterm election results won't materialize until January 20, 2027.
I expect the prices of gold and silver to continue declining at least until the next FOMC meeting on December 9th. On that date, we'll learn what actions the Federal Reserve will take and what their expectations are for the future.
Below are updated versions of the Gold and Silver Price charts, with labeled changes in the Federal Funds Rate included to show you how much rates changes affect gold and silver's price movements.

Gold and Silver Analysis:
The Falling Wedge pattern in the gold and silver charts has been noted for the last three months.
Although the pattern is a positive sign, I'm expecting the prices of gold and silver to drop (as mentioned above), but I hope the prices don't fall through the bottom of the falling wedge before the next Federal Reserve FOMC meeting on December 9th.
If the price of gold or silver falls through the Falling Wedge, expect their prices to decline significantly; this will be very negative for gold and silver.
So, until December 9th, I expect the prices of gold and silver to move down and sideways; if they raise rates again, then I expect even more downward pressure on gold and silver.
On the bright side, the Iran War will likely end soon, and gas prices should go down, which will bring down inflation, and that should encourage the Federal Reserve to lower rates. The Fed lowering rates will result in higher gold and silver prices.

Facts about the Federal Funds Rate
The Federal Funds rate, is the rate at which the Federal Reserve sets rates for overnight lending between banks, it governs all interest rates in the United States. In addition, because the U.S. dollar is the world's reserve currency, it also dictates many of the world's interest rates as well.
Lowering it increases the money supply which is good for gold and silver when debt is high, like it is currently. Raising rates will reduce the money supply and hurt gold and silver.
Note: If there happens to be a Large Broad-Market Correction or Crash in the next four weeks, gold and silver usually, and likely will again, drastically fall in price as traders scramble for liquidity and will sell anything to find it. Although the prices of silver and gold may fall in this type of market, they are also the quickest to recover after such events.

Do you know Jesus Christ, the Son of God?
No matter what age you are or what problems you're dealing with, the best thing you can do is know Jesus, and he'll help you set all your paths straight.
"This is why Christianity is different from every other religion in the world, and no college will tell you this. People say all the religions are the same. No, Christianity, unlike any others, all the other religions, is you trying to get closer to God; Christianity is God who came to you."
"What is Grace? We know what justice is: you break into a store, you get what you deserve, you get a month in prison. Mercy, is you go in front of the judge and he says, "You know, I'll give you a week in prison."
"Now Grace is something different. Grace is that when you die and you face your creator, and they have a list of everything wrong you've ever done, ever, private and public, omniscient, omnipotent, all of it, and a judgement is about to be given, you're about to get your sentencing, and instead of mercy, instead of justice, all the sudden someone (Jesus Christ) steps and says, "Hold on, I know him, I know her, I'll serve that prison sentence, you can go live free."
"That is Grace, and only Jesus Christ can give you that."
Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." John 14:1-6
Embrace the belief that Jesus Christ is
the Son of God, born as God Incarnate, who willingly did the will of his
Father (God) and died for you and shed his sinless blood so that your
sins could be forgiven.
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. John 3:16-17
When you reach out to God with a sincere heart and ask for forgiveness of your sins in Jesus' name, and repent. You will no longer be a slave to sin and will start walking a new path. You will be born again and be filled with the Holy Spirit and receive the gift of everlasting life.
But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you. - John 14:26
I encourage you to learn more about Jesus Christ by reading the New Testament of the Holy Bible. Talk/Pray to him like you would your best friend, and end your words with "in Jesus name, Amen" because there is power in his name.
When you believe in the Son of God, Jesus Christ, you'll see him make your paths straight and move mountains in your life.
Until next month, Thank you for your time and your support.
Take Care & God Bless (✟),
Steven Warrenfeltz
