Updates to the Guide...

For over a year, the Free Bullion Investment Guide has been undergoing a full overhaul, focusing on preserving the good while re-editing or rewriting all other content. 

Below is the latest group of updated pages.

Latest Updated pages:

I've started updating and re-editing the Platinum & Palladium buying guide.  I was hoping to get it done before the end of December, but that hope has been pushed back to the end of January.

Since I wasn't able to get the Platinum and Palladium buying guide done, I decided to put up some archive pages that I've been wanting to post.  So I recently created the following pages for the Bullion News & Commentary Archive pages. 

• 1st Quarter of 2023
• 2nd Quarter of 2023
• 3rd Quarter of 2023
• 4th Quarter of 2023

The quarterly pages serve as archive pages for bullion news links and provide price charts to show market fluctuations.  Although some links may no longer be active, the headlines offer insight into how the precious metal markets moved during the quarter.

Revamping the Free Bullion Investment Guide is still a work in progress; there is more to come.

My Opinion on Gold & Silver

Fundamentals Analysis:

Uncertainty is driving gold and silver higher.  Uncertainty is gold and silver's best friend.  Over the past year in this newsletter, I've been posting the latest uncertainties that have been driving gold and silver higher.  Although some uncertainties have been reduced, like the war in Israel, and the media's hysteria surrounding the tariffs has diminished, at least until the Supreme Court releases its decision on them.

However, many new areas of uncertainty keep creeping into the markets.

Here's the latest list of uncertainties fueling gold and silver's move higher.

• China moves to restrict silver exports - South China Morning Post
• The United States captures Nicolás Maduro and has control of Venezuela - Breitbart
• War in Ukraine  - KyivPost (Ukraine)  // War in Ukraine - Tass (Russian News Agency)
• U.S. Debt (38 Trillion) - U.S. Debt Clock

But we need to be aware that the CME Group is raising trading margins because it could derail the rise in gold and silver prices.

• CME Group has increased trading margins on Gold and Silver - Gurufocus (Yahoo Finance)

In 2011, the CME Group raised the trading margins on gold and silver, which stopped their prices from moving higher. I think they were hoping this latest rise in trading margins would cause gold and silver to fall in price the same way it happened in 2011.  If they continue to raise the trading margins, it will cause gold and silver to pull back in price.

Also, the Federal Reserve is signaling that interest rates may not be cut at their upcoming meeting on January 27-28.

• Minneapolis Fed's Kashkari indicates interest rates don't need to be cut much more - CNBC

The latest GDP for the United States was 4.3%, and if the jobs report comes out with good numbers, the Fed may not lower rates until March.  However, Jerome Powell's term ends on May 15th, so we can all expect that whoever takes over as the Chairman of the Federal Reserve will likely lower interest rates.

Fundamentally, there's a lot to keep on your radar within the next month. I will keep you updated on the latest news regarding these topics on the guide's homepage.

Below is the technical analysis for gold and silver for January.

Technical Analysis:

Gold has been leading Silver in its trading movement for the last year, and because of this, sooner or later, perhaps not until later this month or sometime next month, look for a negative falling wedge pattern to form in silver's price charts, just like the one that has formed in gold's price chart below.

Gold Analysis:

Gold is trading inside a Negative Rising Wedge; it will likely continue to rise in price inside the wedge.  If it breaks above the wedge, it will be a BIG positive for the price of gold, and it will likely start to trade near $5,000.

However, the price of gold is expected to fall below the pattern (validating it) and find support.

Silver Analysis:

Silver is trading within a positive Falling Wedge pattern. For the pattern to be validated, the price of silver will break out to the upside and retest its resistance level of $83.90. However, if the price falls through the bottom of the pattern, it would indicate a new negative trend for silver.

Note: If there happens to be a Large Broad-Market Correction or Crash in the next four weeks, gold and silver usually, and likely will again, drastically fall in price as traders scramble for liquidity and will sell anything to find it.  Although the prices of silver and gold may fall in this type of market, they are also the quickest to recover after such events.

Do you know Jesus Christ, the Son of God?

Embrace the belief that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, born as God Incarnate, who willingly did the will of his Father (God) and died for you and shed his sinless blood so that your sins could be forgiven.

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.  For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.  John 3:16-17

When you reach out to God with a sincere heart and ask for forgiveness of your sins in Jesus' name, and repent. You will no longer be a slave to sin and will start walking a new path. You will be born again and be filled with the Holy Spirit and receive the gift of everlasting life.

But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you. - John 14:26

I encourage you to learn more about Jesus Christ by reading the New Testament of the Holy Bible. Talk/Pray to him like you would your best friend, and end your words with "in Jesus name, Amen" because there is power in his name.

When you believe in the Son of God, Jesus Christ, you'll see him make your paths straight and move mountains in your life.
