In 1993, the Royal Canadian Mint added the 1/20th oz. Canadian Gold Maple Leaf coin to their popular series of bullion coins.
It's one of the smallest gold bullion coins on the market and it is one of the most affordable.

Obverse
The obverse side of the 1/20th oz. Gold Maple Leaf bullion coin displays the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II of Great Britain.
This side of the coin was designed by Susanna Blunt.
The Queen's name "ELIZABETH II" is inscribed across the top of the gold bullion coin.
The face value of "1 DOLLAR" is inscribed along the bottom of the bullion coin with the year the coin was issued.
The edge of the gold coin is Reeded.
Reverse
The reverse side of the 1/20th oz. Gold Maple Leaf bullion coin displays Canada's National Symbol, the Canadian Maple Leaf.
The design of the Maple Leaf is displayed in high detail.
"CANADA" is inscribed across the top of the gold bullion coin.
"FINE GOLD 1/20 OZ OR PUR" is displayed along the bottom of the bullion coin.
The gold bullion coins' purity of "9999" is inscribed on both sides of the Golden Maple Leaf.
The radial lines are found on both sides of the gold bullion coin; in 2015, the Royal Canadian Mint added the radial lines to make it harder for the gold bullion coins to be counterfeited.
